The giant tree standing guard at the entrance to the lower waterfall, though imposing, feels as welcoming as the vibrant yellow flowers bordering the nearby rest area. Evergreen trees and shrubs frame the rush of cool water crashing off brownish gray rocks carved into the hill rising above the entrance area. Kpatawee waterfall is a 50 feet cliff of watery splendor.
